Color is defined by the absence of color, or near colorless. Most diamonds have a slight tint of light yellow or brown with the variations being very subtle. Diamonds come in many colors, some of the most rare are red, purple and green, the difference in color can be very subtle, but they can cause a dramatic price variation.
